DTM: Timo Scheider on podium, Paul Di Resta is champion
For the fifth time in the 2010 DTM season Timo Scheider managed the leap onto the podium. The Audi driver occupied third place at the DTM’s season finale in Shanghai. Second place behind the winner, Gary Paffett (Mercedes), was enough for the Scot Paul Di Resta to win the champion’s title. The Mercedes driver now follows in the footsteps of Scheider, who became DTM Champion in 2009 and 2008.
Three other Audi racers, Martin Tomczyk, Miguel Molina and Markus Winkelhock, finished in the points on the demanding street circuit in the Pudong district of the Chinese metropolis Shanghai as well. All A4 DTM cars fielded in the most popular international touring car series are equipped with clutch high tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering.
