DTM: Timo Scheider and Mike Rockenfeller on the podium

The reigning champion Timo Scheider as the runner-up and his Audi colleague Mike Rockenfeller in third place finished the German finale of the DTM at the Hockenheimring in the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg on the podium in front of 140,000 spectators (throughout the weekend). Paul Di Resta (Mercedes) clinched his third consecutive victory and took the lead of the championship in the process.

In addition to Scheider and Rockenfeller, Martin Tomczyk in fifth place and Oliver Jarvis in sixth scored points for Audi. All A4 DTM cars fielded in the internationally most popular touring car racing series are equipped with clutch high tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering. In total, only nine of the 18 drivers who had started into the ninth of eleven rounds of the 2010 DTM season finished the race.
