DTM: Another podium place for Timo Scheider
Timo Scheider was again the fastest driver of an Audi A4 DTM at the seventh round of the DTM season at Brands Hatch. As at the past race at Zandvoort, the reigning champion occupied third place, behind the winner, Paul Di Resta, and Bruno Spengler (both Mercedes). Rookie Miguel Molina, who delivered another strong performance and finished fourth, Oliver Jarvis, Martin Tomczyk and Alexandre Prmat clinched points for Audi as well. All Audi cars in the DTM are equipped with clutch high tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering.

The two-time DTM Champion Matthias Ekstrm suffered a bitter set-back in the fight for the championship. The Swede, who was the best-placed Audi driver in the standings up to the race at Brands Hatch, was forced to retire on the third lap after several collisions shortly after the start of the race.
