DTM: Timo Scheider on podium after recovery
With an impressive recovery Timo Scheider clinched third place on the podium at the sixth DTM round of the season at Zandvoort, the Netherlands. The reigning champion had started from the pole position but then briefly stalled the engine at the start. From tenth place, Scheider pushed forwards again with a clever strategy.
Four other drivers of an Audi A4 DTM, Mattias Ekstr, Miguel Molina and Oliver Jarvis who took places four to six and Martin Tomczyk who came eighth, scored points as well. All Audi cars in the DTM are equipped with clutch high tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering. The race was won by Gary Paffett (Mercedes).
