DTM: Three Audi divers score points at the EuroSpeedway

Mike Rockenfeller in fourth, Martin Tomczyk in sixth position and Timo Scheider in eighth place flew the flag for Audi during the third DTM race of the season at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz. Every Audi A4 competing in the DTM is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering high-tech clutches. Victory went to Bruno Spengler (AMG Mercedes) in front of 79,000 spectators (entire weekend).

A collision shortly after the start in which Mattias Ekstrm and Alexandre Prmat were involved and subsequently retired prevented Audi from claiming a better result. Ekstrm, DTM champion in 2004 and 2007, started the 52 lap race from a very promising third position on the grid.
