Formula 1: Michael Schumacher is fourth in Istanbul

At the Turkish Grand Prix Mercedes-GP driver Michael Schumacher once again put up a fighting performance. The record world champion, whose car is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers, recorded his best result of the season with fourth place in the seventh round of the world championship. Team mate Nico Rosberg finished just behind the star from Kerpen in fifth place.

Ferrari drivers Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso also scored valuable world championship points in Istanbul after finishing seventh and eighth respectively. The Scuderia also relies on damper technology from Schweinfurt for its cars. With fourth position in the world championship standings Alonso continues to hold a promising position.

The Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi, in whose Sauber-Ferrari ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers are also used, scored the first championship points for himself and his team this year.
