Formula 1: Felipe Massa takes podium place at the N�burgring

With a third-place finish at the German GP Felipe Massa whose Ferrari is equipped with dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering captured a podium for the first time this season. In the drivers� championship the Brazilian improved by one position and now ranks in fifth place. The ninth race of the season was won by Mark Webber, who clinched first F1 triumph, ahead of his Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

The Brawn duo Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, who raced with high-tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering as well, again scored points with a fifth- and a sixth-place finish in the Eifel. After nine of 17 races Jenson Button continues to lead the drivers� championship. Toyota driver Timo Glock trusts dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering. At his home race the German managed to make up ground from the very rear of the grid to tenth place.
