Formula 1: Button celebrates sixth victory of the season
There痴 no stopping Jenson Button in the 2009 Formula 1 season. The Briton whose Brawn-Mercedes is fitted with dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering secured as much as his sixth victory at the Turkish Grand Prix, the seventh Formula 1 race this year. Button benefited from an early driving mistake by pole sitter Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull-Renault), took the lead as early as on the first race lap and kept it up to the finish line. A strong race was also delivered by Jarno Trulli. The Italian marked fourth place. His Toyota is equipped with a clutch from ZF Sachs Race Engineering. A big load was arguably taken off Robert Kubica痴 mind. Finishing seventh at Istanbul, the Pole scored his first championship points in 2009, in his BMW-Sauber car that is fitted with dampers from Schweinfurt. Jenson Button extended his lead in the drivers championship.
