Formula 1: ZF Sachs Partner Brawn GP dominiates at Monaco

Brawn GP continues to be the dominant power in Formula 1: The Briton Jenson Button clinched a commanding victory at the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, ahead of his team-mate Rubens Barrichello, and thus celebrated the fifth out of six possible Grand Prix exploits in the current season. The Brawn GP cars use high-tech dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering. The closest rivals in the city street race in Monaco trust damper technology from Schweinfurt as well. Ferrari drivers Kimi R臺kk�en in third and Felipe Massa in fourth place scored championship points thanks to ZF Sachs products. S饕astien Bourdais, whose Toro Rosso Ferrari is fitted with dampers as well as a clutch from ZF Sachs was rewarded with one point in eighth place.

World Rally Championship: Ford clinches one-two win at Sardinia Rally

ZF Sachs partner Ford had reason to rejoice at the World Rally Championship: At the Sardinia Rally Ford factory drivers Jari-Matti Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen clinched a dominant one-two victory. As early as on the first stage the Finn Latvala whose Focus is equipped with a clutch from ZF Sachs Race Engineering, had taken the lead and defended it through to the finish. For Latvala, who set six fastest stage times, this marked the second win after the Sweden Rally in 2008. World Rally Champion S饕astien Loeb only finished fourth after a puncture and a time penalty.
At the rough and demanding gravel rally in Sardinia Henning Solberg and Matthew Wilson form the Stobart-Ford team clinched places six and eight and thus scored points for the drivers� championship as well. Their cars are fitted with clutches of the ZF Sachs brand.

ZF Sachs Race Engineering victorious at 24-hour race N�burgring

At one of Europe痴 biggest motorsport festivals ZF Sachs Race Engineering made a supreme showing: The winners of the 24-hour race on the N�burgring trusted a clutch by the German supplier operating in their product. The Manthey Racing team clinched its fourth victory in a row at the endurance classic since 2006. Timo Bernhard/Marc Lieb/Romain Dumas/Marcel Tiemann secured the win at the marathon race in the Eifel region with a one-lap lead.

The 都ister car� in third place was equipped with a clutch from ZF Sachs Race Engineering as well. Emmanuel Collard/Wolf Henzler/Richard Lietz/Dirk Werner completed the exploit of the Manthey Racing team.

But not only the teams that were the most successful contenders in the overall classification bank on technology from ZF Sachs Race Engineering - clutches or dampers in a wide range of configurations designed by ZF Sachs Race Engineering for all types of racing applications were found in as many as 121 of the 174 nominated vehicles.
