Formula 1: fourth victory of season for Jenson Button
Following a commanding performance during the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona Jenson Button secured his fourth victory in the fifth race of 2009 season and maintains his championship lead as a result. The Briton, whose Brawn-Mercedes is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers, was followed home in second position by team mate Rubens Barrichello who had been leading for much of the race. Ross Brawn痴 racing team extended its lead in the manufacturers championship with the one-two. Two other drivers, whose teams also rely on dampers from Schweinfurt also celebrated scoring world championship points: Ferrari driver took the chequered flag in sixth position, Nick Heidfeld in the BMW-Sauber clinched seventh position on his 32nd birthday.
