Formula 1: One-two victory for ZF Sachs partner Brawn GP

The new team, Brawn GP, celebrated a sensational one-two victory at its Formula 1 debut race in Australia. Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, whose Brawn-Mercedes racing cars are fitted with clutches and dampers by ZF Sachs Race Engineering, achieved the maximum number of points through this exploit.

Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock, whose Toyota cars are equipped with clutches from Schweinfurt as well, managed an impressive recovery. Because their rear wings did not conform to regulations the duo had been penalized by being relegated to the last two starting positions after qualifying. Nevertheless, they finished the race in third and fifth place.

A surprise in eighth place: The Swiss S・astien Buemi clinched a championship point in his first Formula 1 race straight away. His team, STR-Ferrari, relies on clutches and dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering as well.
