Formula 1: ZF Sachs partner Toyota in fourth place
At the first night race in Formula 1 history, Toyota driver Timo Glock as the best driver of the ZF Sachs Race Engineering's partner team achieved fourth place. The German, whose Toyota is equipped with a clutch made by the German technology company based in Schweinfurt, advanced from position eight on the grid to finish in fourth place, thus missing a podium position by less than three seconds.
Nick Heidfeld, whose BMW-Sauber is fitted with ZF Sachs dampers, finished in sixth place, thus scoring three important championship points.
As the best Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa - after a bungled pit stop - finished in 13th place. The Italian, whose Ferrari uses dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering as well, had started to the city street race from the pole position. His team-mate Kimi R将」ikk将モnen retired four laps before race end after a serious driving mistake and was still classified in 15th place.

Ｆ１開催８００回記念のナイトレース！僕もＴＶで観ましたよ～。いんや凄い綺麗だった。最先端技術を駆使した地上最速の人工造型物”Ｆｏｍｅｌ１”。これは白昼の自然光よりね、人工光、ライトに照らされた中疾走する方がドラマティック感がかなりＵＰしているように思いました。シンガポール市街地サーキットナイトレース。コース最高＆カメラワーク最高！唯一残念だったのが日本でこの市街地ナイトレースが実現出来なかった事かな？
