WRC: Duval finishes third in Germany
Fran輟is Duval celebrated a third-place finish at the ADAC Rallye Deutschland. The Belgian tarmac specialist, whose Focus RS WRC of the Stobart-Ford team is equipped with a clutch from ZF Sachs Race Engineering, made a particularly impressive showing on the final day when he won four special stages in a row. His brand colleague Mikko Hirvonen occupied second place overall at the beginning of the World Rally Championship痴 tenth round of the season. A massive puncture on the 14th special stage caused him to lose about 100 seconds. The Finnish 吐actory driver ultimately came fourth overall after 19 special stages and 352 timed kilometres. Hirvonen like the seventh-placed Stobart-Ford driver Henning Solberg was contesting the event in a Focus RS WRC, which uses a clutch from Schweinfurt as well.
