Formula 1: Fernando Alonso finishes on the podium in Brazil
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso on delivering a fighting performance secured third place in the Formula 1 season finale at São Paulo. For the Spaniard, whose race car uses dampers by ZF Friedrichshafen AG, this marked the ninth podium finish of the year. Thus, Alonso ended the season as the closest rival of World Champion and race winner Sebastian Vettel. A finish in the points, in seventh place, was also achieved by local hero Felipe Massa in the second Ferrari.
Eighth place at round 19 of the World Championship was taken by Nico Hülkenberg. The Sauber driver relies on dampers by ZF in his car as well.
