DTM: Audi celebrates one-two victory at DTM’s premiere in Moscow
Mike Rockenfeller celebrated a commanding victory at the DTM’s first visit to Moscow. The Audi driver, who had started the sixth race of the season from the pole position, crossed the finish line with an advantage of 1.3 seconds in front of his Audi brand colleague Mattias Ekström. On clinching his second victory of the season, Rockenfeller extended the lead in the Championship over BMW driver Bruno Spengler to 27 points. By claiming third place, BMW driver Augusto Farfus managed the leap onto the podium. Fourth place went to Audi junior Adrien Tambay, who scored points for the first time in the current season. As the best Mercedes-Benz driver, Gary Paffett crossed the finish line in fifth place.
All of the three premium manufacturers involved in the DTM, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, rely on clutch high-tech from ZF Friedrichshafen AG.

WRC: Sébastien Ogier celebrates fifth WRC victory
The Volkswagen factory drivers Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia made a big step toward winning the title in the World Rally Championship at Rally Finland. The two Frenchmen in their Volkswagen Polo R WRC, which is equipped with a two-plate clutch and dampers from ZF, celebrated the fifth race of the season and extended their lead in the drivers’ world championship to 90 points. Right at the next event, ADAC Rallye Deutschland (August 22–25), they might claim an early win of the world championship.
Their team-mates Andreas Mikkelsen and Mikko Markkula, who rely on technology by ZF in their Volkswagen Polo R WRC as well, scored one point in the drivers’ championship on finishing the rally in tenth place. Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila took 17th place, thus scoring six points for the manufacturers’ standings in which Volkswagen increased its advantage too.
