Formula 1: podium positions for Räikkönen and Grosjean

Success for team Lotus-Renault in the Grand Prix of Bahrain: Kimi Räikkönen, who relies on a ZF Friedrichshafen AG clutch in his Lotus-Renault, finished in a strong second position. The Finn started the race from eighth on the grid and made up six places thanks to an excellent race strategy. The winner of the season opener in Australia still holds second in the standings after four of the 19 races this season. His team mate Romain Grosjean fought from eleventh on the grid to third place. A high-tech clutch from the ZF brand also operates in his racer.

Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso also scored points in the desert on the Arabian peninsula: the Spaniard, who won the Chinese GP, had to make an additional pit stop due to a defect, but clinched eighth position and four valuable World Championship points at the chequered flag. Damper technology from ZF Friedrichshafen AG is used in Alonso’s Ferrari.
