Formula 1: Alonso puts in two-place recovery

In the fourth race of the Formula 1 World Championship, Ferrari put in a better performance than it had the day before during the timed practice session. Fernando Alonso finished in seventh place for Ferrari in the Bahrain Grand Prix, having started the race from position number nine. His teammate Felipe Massa worked his way up from 14th place to finish in ninth position. Both of their Ferraris are fitted with dampers made by ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Two other teams, Sauber-Ferrari and Toro Rosso-Ferrari, likewise place their trust in ZF’s dampers.

Alonso is currently ranked fifth in the World Championship drivers’ standings. Ferrari occupies fourth place in the constructors’ standings.
