Formula 1: Alonso takes fourth consecutive podium

Fernando Alonso took his fourth consecutive podium finish in the Formula 1 World Championship at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Spaniard, in whose Ferrari ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers are used, improved from fifth on the grid to finish third at the chequered flag after 70 laps. As a result, the two-time World Champion underlined his excellent current form after celebrating one win and two second places in the last three races. Felipe Massa gave Ferrari a good team result with sixth place.

Toro Rosso-Ferrari also had something to celebrate. Drivers Sébastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari equalled the team’s best result of the season by taking five world championship points for eighth and tenth positions. The team uses ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers and clutches.
