DTM: Second victory in a row for Audi racer Martin Tomczyk

Two weeks ago at Spielberg and now again at the Lausitzring: After clinching his second consecutive victory Martin Tomczyk has become the new leader of the standings in the most popular international touring car series. The driver from Rosenheim, Bavaria, who has been at the wheel of an older-generation vehicle since the beginning of this season finished with a lead of 5.436 seconds in front of his brand colleague Timo Scheider. Points were also scored by Audi drivers Oliver Jarvis (fifth), Tom Kristensen (seventh) and Filipe Albuquerque (eighth). All Audi A4 DTM cars are equipped with clutch high-tech from ZF Sachs Race Engineering.

ZF Sachs has been involved in the DTM as an official supplier since the beginning of the 2011 season. This year Audi exclusively relies on the company’s clutches. From the 2012 season on, ZF Sachs will be the exclusive supplier of clutch systems to the three premium car manufacturers, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
