Formula 1: ZF Sachs partner Ferrari scores points
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso finished the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona in fifth place. The Spaniard, whose car is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers, made a good start in his home race and led the race to the first pit stops. Team mate Felipe Massa retired early from the race.
The two Sauber Ferrari team drivers were happy to score World Championship points. Sergio Pérez and Kamui Kobayashi, who also rely on damper technology from Schweinfurt in their cars, finished ninth and tenth respectively.
Best driver in the Toro Rosso team was Sébastien Buemi in 14th. His car is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering clutches and dampers.
