Formula 1: Podium place for ZF Sachs partner Ferrari
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso took third place at the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul and thus secured his first podium finish of the year. The Spaniard, whose car is equipped with dampers from ZF Sachs Race Engineering, was running on position two for long stretches of the fourth round of the season and only had to give in to Red Bull driver Mark Webber in the final stage of the race.
In ninth place, Toro Rosso driver Sébastien Buemi, whose race team relies on clutches and dampers from Schweinfurt, was able to celebrate championship points as well. The final championship point in tenth place was scored by Kamui Kobayashi in the Sauber-Ferrari. The car of the Japanese driver is fitted with dampers from ZF Sachs as well.
