Formula 1: fifth place for Fernando Alonso in Hungary
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso increased his lead in the Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship with fifth place in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Spaniard, whose car is equipped with dampers from ZF Friedrichshafen AG, holds a 40 point lead over his closest rival, Red-Bull driver Mark Webber, after eleven of 20 races this season.
Alonso’s team mate scored two world championship points at the Hungaroring after finishing ninth. The Brazilian also relies on ZF Friedrichshafen AG high-tech in his Ferrari.
