Formula 1: Jenson Button ends his World Championship winning season on the podium

New World Champion Jenson Button waved goodbye to the 2009 season with a fighting third place at the finale in Abu Dhabi. The Briton, whose Brawn-Mercedes is equipped with ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers, was only beaten by Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. With fourth place in the seventeenth race Rubens Barrichello successfully concluded the season for team Brawn GP which not only produced the World Champion but had also already won the Manufacturers� Championship at the penultimate race of the season.

Like the new World Champion痴 car the BMW Sauber F1 team痴 car are also fitted with ZF Sachs Race Engineering dampers. Nick Heidfeld presented his team with a storming fifth place in the floodlit atmospheric finale. Both Toyota drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Jarno Trulli, whose race cars are fitted with a ZF Sachs Race Engineering clutch, also scored points with positions sixth and seventh.
