DTM: One-two-three-four win for Audi at the Nrburgring

Audi driver Martin Tomczyk commandingly secured his first victory of the season at the Nrburgring in the sixth DTM round of the year. The Bavarian who had started to the race from the pole position relies on a clutch from ZF Sachs Race Engineering in his A4 DTM. Places two and three on the podium were clinched by his brand colleagues Timo Scheider and Mattias Ekstrm. Last year痴 champion Scheider also took the lead of the DTM standings with a total score of 35 points, Ekstrm is the overall runner-up with just a one-point gap. Markus Winkelhock in fourth place completed the Audi triumph in the Eifel. The Swabian, at the wheel of a vehicle fitted with a ZF Sachs clutch like all Audi drivers, was thus the most successful driver of a year-old car. As the best Mercedes-Benz driver, Jamie Green saw the chequered flag in fifth place. The Briton痴 AMG Mercedes C-Class is also fitted with a clutch from Schweinfurt.
